Tauber Exploration & Production Co., formerly known as Arthur-Smith Corporation (a former subsidiary of Tauber Oil Company) started by O. J. Tauber, Sr., is a privately owned Texas corporation located in Houston, Texas.
Due to the reorganization of Tauber Oil Company, Tauber Exploration & Production Co. became it’s own entity in 1984.
Active in the petroleum exploration and production business since the early 1970’s, Tauber has enjoyed the success of developing oil and gas properties in the areas of East Texas, South Texas, the Gulf Coast of Texas, Southern Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
