Tauber Exploration & Production, formerly known as Arthur-Smith Corporation (a former subsidiary of Tauber Oil Company) started by O. J. Tauber, Sr., is a privately owned Texas corporation located in Houston, Texas.
Tauber Exploration & Production Co. became its own entity in 1984 due to the reorganization of Tauber Oil Company.
Active in the petroleum exploration and production business since the early 1970’s, Tauber has enjoyed the success of developing oil and gas properties in the areas of East Texas, South Texas, the Gulf Coast of Texas, Southern Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
